Fees
Fees and remuneration
How Future Financial Planning is paid, including hourly rates, commission caps by product type, and how commission is offset against fees.
How we are paid
Financial advisers in Ireland are paid by fee, by commission from the product provider, or by a combination of the two. We use the combination.
Where we receive commission from a product provider on a policy or pension we arrange for you, that commission is offset against the fee. If the commission is more than the fee, the commission is the amount payable and you pay nothing further.
We give you an estimate in writing before we start. Additional fees may apply for complex or urgent cases. Non-monetary benefits are accepted only where they improve the service we can give you.
Advisory fees
If you choose to deal with us on a fee basis, these hourly rates apply.
€300
Senior advisers, per hour
€100
Support staff, per hour
These rates are reviewed from time to time. Additional fees may apply where ongoing advice exceeds two hours.
Commission by product type
Commission rates vary by product and are capped. The maximum commission we may receive is set out below.

Clawback
If a provider claws back commission because of early encashment or transfer caused by the client, a fee equal to the clawed-back amount is charged.
Regular reviews
We review your arrangements regularly so the advice stays aligned with your circumstances. Where a review involves additional work beyond the original engagement, we will tell you the cost before we proceed.
Provider arrangements
